Born in Norfolk, England, Yve Mary B began her musical journey at just eight years old, penning her first songs while performing covers with her cousins. Her childhood was steeped in creativity, leading her to study Performing Arts and attend music theatre school before stepping into the recording world during her teenage years.

A Career Spanning Genres

Yve Mary B has never been confined to one sound. Her artistry flows across Folk, Pop, R&B, Country, Americana, Blues, Indie, and Rock. This versatility has made her a unique voice in today’s music scene, equally at home in acoustic storytelling and soulful stage performances.

Collaborations and Notable Bands

Over the years, Yve Mary B has been part of many acclaimed musical projects:

The Like Minded Band and The Sharps (later Morganway) – where her co-write “Hurricane” became a fan favorite. While with Morganway, she opened for The Shires and appeared on Under The Apple Tree Sessions hosted by legendary broadcaster Bob Harris.

Rosalie’s Lover – a female harmony-based trio.

The Vagaband – a Roots Rock Americana band with Celtic folk influences. Her song “Avalon” was featured on their 2023 album Beautiful World. She still joins them live when visiting the UK and recently recorded harmony vocals for their upcoming fifth studio album.

Tony Brook Family Band – blending Blues, Americana, Country, and Southern Rock.

Her collaborations also include working with artists like Chris Short, Jason Wick, and Tony Brook on standout tracks such as “Washington Summer” and “Ride The Wave.”

Her powerful interpretation of Roy Orbison’s “Crying” has been widely praised, showcasing her ability to deliver sparse yet deeply emotional performances.

Current Projects and Upcoming Release

Yve Mary B is actively writing and recording with the Transatlantic Music Coop (TMC), alongside songwriter Greg Cook and producer Bob Kidby. Together with drummer Dave Jackson, they are crafting songs that blend soulful melodies with modern production.

Her latest solo single, “Lift You Up”, produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Mitchell, is scheduled for release in September. Fans can pre-save the track via her official website.
