The story of WIRD began in 2020 under the name Bronchus, a project spearheaded by guitarist and vocalist Žilvinas Vaitiekūnas, better known as Zin. While the early days reflected a solo-driven vision, Zin’s ambition soon transformed the project into a fully-fledged band. By late 2020 and early 2021, the group had evolved into WIRD—a name pronounced “Weird,” perfectly embodying their outsider edge and creative unpredictability.
