Career Highlights and Music That Heals
Harralson's songwriting took another leap when she began collaborating with Johnny Garcia, guitarist for Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood. Their work led to her second publishing deal with Busy at Play Publishing in 2020.
That same year, she released Put a Rock on This Rolling Stone, which would become a launching pad for her 2022 full-length album Whiskey History. In 2023, she released Blue Ribbon—a touching tribute to her mother’s battle with colon cancer—with proceeds benefiting the Colorectal Cancer Alliance.
Her most recent album, Outside the Lines (August 2023), sees Harralson stepping into the role of producer, showcasing her multifaceted talent in the studio.
In a genre where authenticity matters most, Sarah Harralson rises as a beacon of lyrical honesty and heartfelt melodies. Hailing from Knoxville, Tennessee, Harralson began writing songs at just ten years old, inspired by her bluegrass-playing grandfather. His influence laid the foundation for what would become a remarkable country music career rooted in storytelling and emotional connection.
Songs That Travel and Touch the World
From stages like The Bluebird Cafe, Ole Red, and The Listening Room, to corporate events at Gaylord Opryland and Music City Center, Sarah has captivated diverse audiences. She's opened for artists like Aaron Tippin and Bucky Covington, and shared festival rosters with Jason Aldean and Old Dominion.
Her music has also reached international audiences. The song Get Lost in Some Rock 'n Roll was featured on Norwegian show Norge Bak Fasaden, while Slow Me Down was used in a Google Ireland ad. In 2023, her track Creature of Habit was featured on the Hulu series Living for the Dead.
In a career highlight, Harralson toured Eastern Europe in 2023, performing with an international symphony in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria, supported by The America for Bulgaria Foundation.

A Powerful Debut and the Move to Music City
After her grandfather’s passing in 2011, Sarah set her sights on Nashville, enrolling at Belmont University to fully pursue her passion for music. In 2014, she released her debut singer-songwriter EP Finally Found, which caught the attention of critics including Music Connection Magazine, who praised her “honest, bare-boned recordings.”
Just a year later, her song Watered Down Whiskey caught the ear of Scotty Schultz—drummer for Shooter Jennings, son of country legend Waylon Jennings. Schultz, founder of Raindrop Music LLC, quickly signed Harralson to her first publishing deal and produced her 2018 EP Watered Down Whiskey.
With comparisons to Jewel, The Dixie Chicks, and Brandy Clark, Harralson’s sound mixes traditional country roots with a modern edge.
Awards, Activism, and Expanding Her Reach
In May 2024, Harralson signed a major publishing and label deal with Synapse Publishing & Entertainment, a woman-owned powerhouse. She’s now working on an empowering documentary titled Women Behind the Lyrics.
As a philanthropist, Harralson performs for patients through Musicians On Call, earning the Michael Solomon Volunteer Musician Award in 2024 for performing for over 19,000 patients.
