Behind the Beat: Crafting “TBDD”
Produced by Niccoló Paluani, co-produced by Zion Jeng, and mixed/mastered by Charlie Lo Presti, TBDD evolved from an entirely different song into the confident anthem it is today. Rebelle describes the process as a turning point: “This song taught me how to rewrite not just a track — but my own narrative.”
Working alongside Paluani and Jeng, she honed her instincts and rebuilt the track from scratch. The polished production matches Rebelle’s vision: playful, sultry, and powerful without ever falling into cliché.
Los Angeles-based pop artist Rebelle is back with her most seductive and empowering single yet, “TBDD (Til the Beat Drops Down),” released on August 19, 2025. Known for her fierce stage presence and unapologetic pop anthems, Rebelle delivers a bold disco-pop track that flips the script on hookup culture, putting female power and desire at the forefront.
Inspired by disco legends and modern icons like Dua Lipa, Britney Spears, Kylie Minogue, and Usher, Rebelle’s sound continues to merge glittering production with raw confidence. But “TBDD” isn’t just another dance track—it’s a daring redefinition of intimacy, play, and control.

A Playful and Seductive Anthem
From the very first beat, TBDD shimmers with disco-pop brilliance: pulsing synths, sticky hooks, and glitter-soaked percussion. The chorus is a playful countdown—“1 2 3 I’m ready / Come give me some confetti...”—that teases and commands at the same time. Every lyric is packed with double entendre, walking the fine line between flirtation and empowerment.
Instead of waiting to be desired, Rebelle takes control of the narrative. “This isn’t about waiting around to be wanted — this is about saying you want me, and you’re lucky I’m giving you the chance,” she explains. The result is a track that feels both fun and empowering—a sex song that’s witty, bold, and designed for the dance floor.

A DIY Pop Powerhouse
What makes Rebelle’s artistry even more inspiring is her independence. She produces, performs, and builds her brand without a major label backing. From writing songs for sync placements like Almost Famous to collaborating with industry veterans like Carmine Rojas, Phil Lo Presti, and Eric Ekstrand, she continues to expand her artistry on her own terms.
“Everything you see — the shows, the visuals, the music — it’s DIY,” she says. “I don’t have a machine. I have grit, humor, a glam-pop vision, and a little bit of bitch energy.”
With “TBDD,” Rebelle steps into full control—not just in her music but in the narrative of modern love.
A Journey from Croatia to Los Angeles
Rebelle’s path to TBDD is as remarkable as her music. Originally from Croatia, she first gained attention as a Croatia’s Got Talent finalist at age 10 and later performed at the prestigious Lisinski Hall. In 2018, she starred as the lead villain in Croatia’s first musical Music of My Heart.
Since moving to Los Angeles, Rebelle has graduated from the Los Angeles College of Music, taken part in Grammy U’s mentorship program (with mentors like Amira Gadd, Matthew Puckett, and Sam Pikar), and even performed background vocals for Dennis Quaid at the Movieguide Awards. Her performances have lit up venues such as the Avalon Theatre, Hotel Ziggy, Dreamland Aviator Nation, and LA City Hall.
